Back when I was married, a lifetime ago in California we ate a lot of sushi and drank a lot of sake. California is a fond memory, marriage not so much, sushi I can take it or leave it, mostly it’s not in the budget… ah but sake has stayed on. On cold nights it’s warm, comforting little sips helps me get to sleep instead of staying up way too long. I have to be someplace on time now in the mornings.
I used to have pretty sake sets where everything matched, little delicate flowers, gold rims, it was special, kind of like a grown up tea party. I had tile counters and tile floors and one by one they all met an untimely demise. With steadfast ingenuity, after a trip to World Market for the cutest fish cup ever, I came up with the perfect solution and I believe it’s indestructible.
Yep, Kikkoman to the rescue. It’s been dropped, boiled, microwaved, dropped and dropped and still just like new.

Sake, eh? My husband likes Sake, and I’ve tried to like it over the years, but I never acquired the taste for it. You can have my share, too! 😉
It’s an acquired taste I think. Hehehe don’t mind if I do.
Great shot–beautiful composition with a story to tell!
