“At the Edge of the Big Outside”
I just finished this last night. This is Phoebe when she was a little girl dragging her blankie and her toys out into the front yard. Her favorite game: Ha! I’ve got the brush chase me!
This painting is 11×12″ on a nice piece of Sennelier paper. I’ve never tried it out before and it needed a thin coat of gesso to support the acrylic paint. I am forever trying out new papers and boards. So far Arches is still number one with me.
More on this painting later. This is just a little peek. I love looking at them when they are finished!
Thanks for stopping by!
I know that game! That’s one happy pup!
Phoebe. So cute! I love this painting!
I have really missed your posts. I’ve been busy writing so have had little time for blogging. I’ll be back as soon as I can though to catch up with you, Pam.
Thank you Maddie! It’s my new favorite painting. So nice to hear from you! I know you’ve been writing up a storm can’t wait to read all of them! My blogs have been a little sporadic lately, between the heat and the new schedule (4am -noon geesh have to get up at 2:30 in the morning!) my brain be fried.
Keep up the good work!
